SEO Product Manager

Develop new emerging digital marketing focussed products with a user-experienced focussed approach.

About The Role

We are hiring a process-orientated, entrepreneurial minded, and overall simply-brilliant Product Manager to help us conceive, engineer and launch new productised SEO and digital marketing services into our marketplace.

Your role will be to develop new products and experiences that will constantly grow FATJOE’s marketplace and fulfil our customers demands. You will be liaising with almost every department including technology, marketing, production and operations to ensure products are seamlessly integrated into our platform and delivered with consistent quality by vendors.

Whether you are creating products for new emerging markets or enhancing our existing ones, you’ll be at the forefront of developing a creative, fast-paced, user-experience focussed team.

Responsibilities

• To understand FATJOE’s overarching mission to help agencies Deliver Better Marketing and solve their problems with productised services.
• Research & develop ideas by conducting competitor and market research, assessing product supply and demand and pricing analysis.
• Conceive solid product ideas, layout roadmaps for development and production and create user-experience focussed delivery.
• Hire exceptional freelance talent and teams to set the standards, deliver the services whilst carefully managing the supply and demand.
• Analyse existing services to maintain and improve quality standards, processes, delivery and production.

Requirements

• 2+ years of SEO or digital marketing experience in a commercial setting.
• 2+ years of experience in hiring and managing people and teams.
• Be able to demonstrate being process orientated and analytical.
• Experience in commercially pricing digital services or campaigns.
• Good communicator, motivator of people with leadership experience.
• Technically minded to focus on user-experience and platform integrations.

Software Developer

The Application Development Team are part of FATJOE.

We produce internal solutions for the business, producing and maintaining many applications for both public and internal use. For these applications, we need someone to help take on the extra workload in supporting existing systems as well as creating new features and applications.

Competences and Abilities:

You will have at least 3 years + commercial experience with web application development and will be proficient with the following:

Essential skills:

• PHP 7.3 +
• OOP using frameworks such as Laravel / CodeIgniter
• MySQL / MariaDB
• JavaScript (with React, jQuery, etc.)
• CSS with SASS (SCSS)
• GIT

Beneficial skills:

• Docker
• AWS
• Unit testing
• Cypress testing
• Experience with GitHub

Qualifications and Experience:

You are expected to have 3+ years commercial web application development experience using PHP or similar.

What you will be doing as a freelance copywriter?

As a copywriter, you can expect to be assigned writing projects from a variety of different niches. Alongside writing for our flagship Blogger Outreach service you can also expect to work on web page content, product/service reviews, articles, etc…

Importantly you’ll have the flexibility of completing these and letting your creative juices flow during your own hours allowing you to control the perfect work/life balance for you. You’ll get praise and recognition for when you particularly excel. Even though we work remotely you can expect really close communication and collaboration via email, chat and even phone if you need with our support team.
